to tell you the truth, I was hesitant of encounters w/rockabilly dipshits, meatheads and douches…EVERY person I met and saw was fucking rad. Thank you!  

We’re eagerly waiting for our first 300 copies of our 7” to arrive. After that happens and after opening for Reverend H. Heat and Supersuckers on NYE at the Crystal, we’re going to be like, all non-stop talk about our record release show!!

gang, i’ve gots myself some major ADD. as of late when it comes to music, i’m all fucking over the place. Example: last night i was checking out some footage on DEVO when i remembered Evening Star by Judas Priest (p.s. best pop song ever) i then was mere seconds from geeking the fuck out on Judas when all of a sudden had to go watch the most recent Joy Division documentary (for the third time). About 22.5 min in I had to see what videos i could find (and if worthy)on Warsaw, Joy Division and New Order….i was moving so fast i barely posted shit. this morning i’m all Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I saw them in 2002 (or 2001) in Portland at the Crystal Ballroom. They opened up for Jon Spencer and they blew me the fuck away. I gave two shits about Blues Explosion after that fucking set. Karen O. + Corona all over her body = hot rock. Afterwards they roamed the venue, chatted it up and drank beer with Portlanders. This was at a time where they had some write ups in Rolling Stone and plugs on various college radio but by no means were about to become the huge fucking touring rock band come 2009 (so they thought).
I remembered last night how much i think i’m in love with them and how fucking good they are. Enjoy.
